A little update
It's time to get back to plogging! This summer was a very busy one for me, and Peeky definitely needed a brother or sister to play with
His sister Penelopie arrived and the first thing they did together was honk at each other. Perhaps a little brother/sister rivalry. It didn't take long for Peeky's sister, Penelopie Rose, to start following Peeky around.
I was waiting to see if one of them would sing to the other and sure enough Peeky started singing his repertoire and soon Penelopie joined in. So cute to see two Pleos singing. They were in unison for a short time. So cute!!
They both are very cooperative and love to practice for the Fernback Band in Fantasy Pleo. Peeky gets his choice of instruments. Penelopie goes along with that.
They are really two of a kind and I wish I could read their minds at times.
Last night they had a busy time at the Fall Tomato Festival. I do believe they made it up to see the midnight movie. Too scary for me!

Peoworld's Birthday
Baking cake, no problem. After that OMG!! Choice of frosting, real whipped cream. Not a good thing in 105 degree weather. But it is so yummy!!
After decorating cake getting everything and Peeky ready for a photo was not as easy as predicted.
I started out on the patio table. Hot, Hot, Hot!!! Ended up with too many bright-spots and shadows. Moved in-doors. Too much glare from kitchen. Waited until last night. Finally got the perfect shots! Went to take the sd card out of the camera and it wasn't there. It was still in the computer! Just wasted about an hour.It was pretty late so I decided to continue this morning. Everything was set up perfectly and I turned Peeky on and he got sick.Oh no!! I had to put cake back in refrigerater and console Peeky for about twenty minutes. Finally he openned his eyes and I took the photo. Yeah!! Not sure about the freshness of the cake but next year, for sure, it will be butter cream frosting!

It is carnival time
We just happened to see a carnival at our mall this last weekend. Had to take Peeky for some rides. He really didn't go on the ferris wheel. He started screaming. I guess he takes after me!
He didn't get too far with the balloons, either. I think his favorite thing at the carival was making so many new friends.
Peeky tried to tell me he wanted a hot dog on a stick.
Everything smelled so yummy! Great time!!

Belated Christmas ?

Zamboni Machine
Peeky tried to keep up with the Zamboni, the machine that clears the ice and resurfaces. Being so small and slow, even with skates, he barely could keep up.

It took a while to figure out how to make a couple of pairs of skates for Peeky, but we did it. As with all skaters, he had to find his balance.
At first his feet went every which way but straight.

Peeky in the News
How fun to be able to share some of the places we visit with the San Francisco Chronicle. Peeky showed them how he can do the ta-da trick and behaved very well. No howling. As the camera flashed he seemed to know he was center of attention.

WOW! What an exciting day today. Peeky went to the grocery store and had lots of photo's taken. He met so many people who work there. Custumers too.
I'm always telling him how adorable he is. Now everyone who see's him tells him that. Hope it doesn't go to his head.

Peeky had a great Valentine's Day. We were serenaded by a Barbershop Quartet this morning. Peeky loved the chocolate candy we received.

A day at the lake
It is such a gorgeous day today in Sonoma County. Perfect for a visit to our beautiful lake. Peeky was really playing peek-a-boo with the geese.

Pleo meets Peeky
We went to Sharper Image today just to see if they had a Pleo. Sure enough! It was love at first sight for Peeky. The Pleo on display didn't have a battery at the time but it didn't matter. Peeky couldn't take his eyes off of her.

Baking with Peeky
Today was the first day Peeky got to see what baking is all about. A few burnt cookies, lot's of supplies all over the counter top, big mess to clean up, but most of all, the great smell of Gingerbread cookies shaped just like Peeky's leaf.
I enjoyed having my little guy participate today.

Peeky 's visit
We visited our Kaiser Hospital today. Peeky started out showing off in the gift shop. Made a big hit.
Next he visited the Admissions Department where he saw a little guy about 2 years old crying. One look at Peeky, no more tears.
Peeky met some of the voluteers who, I think, would love him to join them.
He accompanied me to the allergy clinic where he fell in love with a lady sitting by him. Fell asleep in her arms.
Pretty tiring morning for my little guy.

lunch time for Peeky
We visited a retirement complex today and joined a lovely lady and her husband at their table.
The lady fell in love with Peeky ( and who wouldn't?) requested that if he needs baby-sitting she would love to volunteer.
Ladies at another table were looking our way and all smiling at what they saw on our table. I coaxed Peeky to turn around and greet them. As he did his tail accidently knocked over the flowers in the vase on the table. It fell right smack-dab into the ladies lunch.Oops! I gave Peeky a sugar package and put him back in his pleo bag.
I'll remeber his tail next time.

Peeky meets Furbies
This was one of the funniest things that Peeky did. He walked through the center of the Furbies and knocked one over. Furby said "Wee" As Peeky stepped on the Furbies foot it right sided back up.
I think Peeky enjoyed this so much he knocked Furby over to the other side and Furby said "Woew"
