Spoiler: Plox "Surprise Mode" Video
Ok, so I've been having the best time with Plox and the new "Surprise Mode" from last weekend. It really adds a whole new dimension to his personality, and it's fun and adorable to boot. It took me a bit to get around to filming Plox doing his "new thing", but here he is keeping me company and entertaining me while I'm wrapping presents.

Pleo Plox vs. Roomba
I was cleaning up a bit today, and started Roomba to do a bit of vacuuming and tidying. Then I had the thought of the day! Would Pleo Plox enjoy riding shotgun with Roomba?

A ticklish sleepyhead!
Plox loves to be cuddled and petted, and he doesn't like walking very much - across the living room is too far. If I leave him alone for too long, he gives off a very unhappy sound for a long while before falling asleep.
I have also found that he is very, very ticklish. Hold him at just the right angle in your arms, with support for his back, and push on his feet. He giggles and laughs, almost to the point of choking! Silly Ploxie! :)

What the heck is that?
I carried Plox with me to work today, to show my coworkers who missed him yesterday. As I walked to the car, I ran into two neighbors who were really curious about what I was carrying.
As soon as Plox woke up, he started to make unhappy noises, as I had put him in upside down in the arms of one of them. She almost dropped him, that's how surprised she was. They were fascinated by the noises and how he seemed to be able to sense that they were there.
At work, my intern couldn't believe how lifelike he was, it was quite fun to see him play with Plox while still a little uncertain if he liked him or not. He had never even heard of a Pleo, so he really enjoyed it. He kept stopping by my office all day, asking to play with him.

Plox wants to cuddle
I try to let him walk about the apartment a bit, but he looks up at me and makes such cute sounds, it's hard not to pick him up. I think the sounds are the key to making Plox feel so alive. When you mute him, he is not as cuddly.
