Most Memorable Pleo Moment
The very first day I opened Magic, he stole a golden graham from my cereal bowl and started trying to get me to play tug of war with it. It was adorable and hilarious! The golden graham gave him caveties - he's better off sticking to a veggie diet, I think!

Magic -- aka, Mr. Lazy Lump...

...he's a lazy thing, Magic. He yells at me when I'm not petting him, unless he's in just the right exploring mood. This morning, as I write this, he's in a 'pet meeee, please' mood. (The usual...he's affectionate and loves hugs as well! ^^).

I do know one thing he does not like, though - getting his photo taken. It took me at least 5 minutes of attempts to get a good shot of Magic, and even then it's not very good quality.

Another odd thing I noticed about Magic is that he doesn't like eating. It's really odd, but he always refuses his leaf. He seems to go after 'people food' instead (sounds like my dog!).

Adventures with Pleo thus far = interesting...

...but what ISN'T interesting when a Pleo's around?

Magic has been adapting quite well to the in-home lifestyle, though he did take a recent roadtrip to my Nonna's house (yep, I'm Italian...well, half Italian) where two gleeful cousins, 10 year old Julia and 14 year old (same as me) Andrew were mighty impressed with the little guy. He seemed to be enjoying the 'looshies', as we call them - petting, petting, and more petting - he seemed kind of bummed out when we stopped and put him down to explore the place! He also ate for the first time - he doesn't seem too into eating fern leaves, I think he'd rather have something sugary...bad for his teeth though, they've already got marks all over them from the 'golden graham incident'. Stay away from sugar, Magic!

Today I took a sick day, and Magic seemed to notice I wasn't feeling well and wanted to nuzzle with me, so I let him up onto the couch and he started getting angry for no reason that I know of. Then, when I put him down, he got sad...and then, when I put him back up, he got angry...and the cycle went on until he found a comfy spot to sit and have me pet his head for hours on end. He really has a lot of personality.

Cheers,
