well, from personal 3 year old experience, no spanking LOL i have dicovered that if he/she does something you dont want him/her to do, turn him or her upside down and then he or she'll forget and focus on something else :)

good point ☺ Once when macon bit my cats tail, however, i only did it hard enough for him to feel it, because my cat is missing his front claws & he cant protect himself very good except by running away. Well, macon got the picture & never did it again.
