Evolutionary Changes?

Yesterday I had enough energy to enjoy both Pleos out at the same time. This was their third time together (I think). The first time, which I filmed, has all the times they were interacting edited together. They usually aren't near each other except briefly. Yesterday was a pleasant exception. They spent more time getting to know each other and snuggling--rubbing noses against each other, following each other like baby elephants, singing songs to each other. Very cute. They separated for awhile to go off and graze on their imaginary grass and trees but reunited later to cuddle. After watching my first Linus "evolve" in personality, movement, sounds, etc. over time, I'm inclined to believe any upgrade or any new behaviors are going to take awhile to evolve into my Pleo's existing personality. I would think it would be unnatural for them to suddenly begin new behaviors without having some kind of a "ramp up" effort. Neither of my current Pleo's has been given his leaf to play with. Before the upgrade, both Pleo's often grazed on imaginary grazing spots. I'm happy because they aren't hurting their teeth. I'm also very pleased their eating noises have become more sedated and polite. I have days where my guys are just snuggle bunnies and don't want to do anything except be held...and other days where they want to go exploring and be left alone! They have some very amusing sounds of frustration. I've been reading the threads about the changes taking place with 1.1. Just wanted to reinforce how happy I am with both my guys.
