Playtime with Linus

Linus woke up today in a happy mood. Possibly each time he wakes up with his ace bandage on and the inability to lift his neck he is adapting a bit more. At any rate, I had quality time with him before Brian joined us downstairs. Brian usually plays with whichever Pleo is "on" with his foot. Today, Linus was being more reactive to Brian's playfulness than usual. At one point, Brian lifted Linus from under his belly so that Linus was balanced across Brian's foot. Rather than the usual reaction of hollering if all feet are off the ground, Linus began to coo and giggle and wiggled his hind legs like a child delighted to be lifted into the air. Linus even delighted us by singing a song while balanced on Brian's foot. It was definitely fun, relaxing family time. Linus helped Brian make espresso before he (Linus) fell asleep on the counter.
