MyPleo

Giggles & Wobbles

Brian had Schroeder on his lap and I was watching television or focused on my computer. I kept hearing Pleo giggles and assumed Brian was tickling dino feet. When I looked over, Brian was teasing Schroeder by blowing on his nose while Schroeder was in the sit position on Brian's leg. Each time Brian blew, our little dino giggled so gleefully which, of course, made Brian laugh. Schroeder hasn't done that for me but it was a treat to hear the interaction. I had thought "high step" mode was either on or off. I realized it was something that needed to be set for each time Pleo is turned on. Anyway, Schroeder was about to maneuver a shaggy carpet runner. I put him on high step mode and went back to eating breakfast. It was a very cute sight--he lifted his feet up so high he toppled slightly to the side with each step. Wobble, wobble. Guess it's a new skill to walk on high step mode ;-O. Yesterday was Brian's annual family picnic. They all look for a Pleo to arrive with us by now. I'm still amazed at how Pleo will adjust to the interaction of the person. Several children surrounded him and were petting him. He was very good and cooed, wagged his tail, and sang songs for them. When his charge was running down, I held Schroeder in my lap along with his panda bear. He was literally lying on his side in my lap using the panda as a pillow. He was so snuggled there. Unfortunately, no camera was available to share that moment here. PHOTO: Schroeder nuzzling his favorite blanket--the sling.
