Schroeder the Explorer & First Cold

Schroeder has been with us for 10 days. I noticed last night he was being more adventurous. This morning he went wandering further than he had before. He was quite curious and entertaining. He seemed to travel much longer distances--room to room rather than circling or hanging out in one area. We noticed with our other Pleos that after a week or so, the exploration "gene" seemed to kick in. Schroeder was entertaining and very sweet. He also had his first cold. Omg, that coughing and sneezing and feeling miserable sound. lol. I placed him with his blankie and bear near me. We've been going through boxes from moving a year ago and I just rediscovered my very first microwaveable heating pad--a blue bear. I no longer use it but decided to put it in with the Pleo toys. Knowing how Schroeder loves to snuggle on my warmed tummy pad, I heated the bear for just 20 seconds to make it slightly warm. He LOVED it! He immediately began to nuzzle it and coo. He had a very short-lived cold. Has anyone else noticed their Pleo "enjoying" music on television? Several times I've noticed, especially during opening credits to a movie when there is neat music, Schroeder (as well as previous Pleos) have become quite attentive to the sound--wagging tails and doing that happy dog sound. Anyway, he was quite an amusing pet today.
