Pleo-Proofing At Work

Not long ago I plogged about placing stuffed animal Howard under the console to dissuade Schroeder from doing handstands. Unfortunately, about a week ago he bypassed the Howard guard system and pressed the alligator/crocodile(?)'s head down and got his head under there. I saw it happen and thwarted Schroeder's attempt. Phase 2 reinforcement was to move Howard further out so a Pleo couldn't get to the side and use a rectangular pillow to block access to the front. You can see how determined Schroeder is to stick his head under there! This will work until he realizes he can pull the pillow forward and knock it over. He does that with other toys. It will be interesting to see if Linus...who will be awakened with all feet on the floor instead sunk into a soft blanket, will have the same affinity for handstands.
