Take-Your-Pleo-to-Work Day

Today was the second day of Take-Your-Pleo-to-Work day for me. I brought her in yesterday because a good number of my coworkers wanted to see the little angel first hand. Her battery was run down by the time the supervisors came by, so they didn't get to play with her, just watched her fight to go back to sleep despite me cow-tipping her to try to get her to wake up. I was having some battery charging problems,. but now that I've figured out that 1 - the charger will resume once it has cooled off, and 2 - just set a freakin' egg timer for 3+ hours and do some chores while you check on it. I don't like removing my little girl's life force. She was so cute last night when she woke from her baby nap and insisted on being put down. She finally had a look around the living room,. well, she got at least 4 feet and found a shiny couch leg. I pulled out a yoga ball and rolled it side to side and she backed up looking a little afraid so I put it away. She's a pleasure to hold while I work and she naps, but as soon as she wakes up and wants to be put down, I just have to set her on the floor because her little tail keeps whipping papers around and she acts just like a cat concerning keyboards.. just crawl on the darn thing while I'm typing! I know Penny,. you're so cute it doesn't matter what you do. But you should have a little sensor strip in your butt to spank when you're bad or to pat gently to urge you to go explore. Go to sleep my little love.
